Where Pilgrims Gather
This church was also close to the city, so parking required a little creativity. A spot was found along the side street near the church, and a short walk brought the pilgrimage to its entrance, a small adventure in itself, since city parking can be tricky.
Stepping inside, the space was immediately impressive. The church was expansive, with an elegant, timeless beauty that spoke of history and devotion. Amidst the grand interior, a small corner right in the center of the church held the stamp station, simple yet inviting.
While stamping the passport, it was heartwarming to see other visitors, pilgrims from different countries, discovering the process and beginning their own journeys. For anyone who hasn’t yet received a Pilgrim Passport, it is also available right at the stamp station, and during our visit, a friendly attendant was on hand to guide anyone unfamiliar with the process.
A few quiet moments were spent in prayer, taking in the calm and sacred atmosphere of the church. Afterward, the journey continued to another church to attend Mass, since there was no service at this location on Saturday.
It was a gentle reminder that the pilgrimage is about more than collecting stamps; it’s also about these small shared experiences, quiet reflections, and the sense of connection that blooms wherever fellow pilgrims gather.
